Vision Statement
At Walnut Creek, our vision is to ignite a movement of disciple-makers. We envision a community where every believer passionately follows Jesus, grows in faith, and intentionally invests in the lives of others. Our vision extends beyond our church walls—reaching neighborhoods, workplaces, and the nations.
Mission Statement
Our mission is clear: To make disciples of Jesus Christ.
We embrace the Great Commission from Matthew 28:19:
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”
Our mission involves three essential components:
1. Declare the Gospel: We boldly proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ. Through preaching, teaching, and personal conversations, we share the message of salvation, grace, and transformation.
2. Gather Disciples: We intentionally gather believers into vibrant communities—our church family. Here, we worship, learn, and encourage one another. We believe that discipleship thrives in authentic relationships.
3. Equip and Send: We equip disciples to live out their faith. Whether it’s through Bible studies, mentoring, or practical training, we empower believers to impact their spheres of influence. We send them out as ambassadors of Christ.
Our Purpose
Worship God.
Our primary purpose is to worship God wholeheartedly. Through vibrant praise, heartfelt prayers, and the study of His Word, we seek to honor the One who created us, redeemed us, and sustains us. We lift our voices and lives in adoration of our great God!

Connect Together.
We believe in the power of community and connection. Whether through small groups, fellowship events, or serving together, we aim to build meaningful relationships that strengthen our faith and encourage one another. We seek to journey together in love and unity!

Serve Others.
We embrace the call to serve with compassion and selflessness. Whether within our congregation, our local community, or beyond, we actively seek opportunities to make a difference. Join us as we extend a helping hand, share God’s love, and impact lives through acts of service. We desire to help all members of Walnut Creek to find their specific gifting and use it to serve others and bring people to Jesus.

Multiply Disciples.
Our church is committed to multiplying disciples—not merely adding them. Just as Jesus envisioned, we aim to be a movement that spreads the Gospel far and wide. Through intentional disciple-making, we strive to reach those who have yet to hear the Good News.
