From the nursery to high school, we believe every stage of a child's life matters to God — and it matters to us. Here's what we offer for your family.
At Walnut Creek, ministry to children and youth isn't an afterthought — it's a priority. Every program is designed to help kids and teenagers encounter Jesus, build real friendships, and grow in their faith in a way that sticks. And every volunteer is background-checked and trained because your child's safety matters as much as their spiritual formation.
Your littlest ones are in good hands. Sprouts is our fully staffed nursery, care for newborns through 4-year-olds during Sunday morning worship. Every volunteer is background-checked so you can worship with confidence knowing your child is safe, loved, and well cared for.
Rooted Kids is where children learn who God is, what the Bible says, and what it means to follow Jesus — in a way that's engaging, age-appropriate, and genuinely fun.
Kids in Rooted Kids aren't just sitting through a lesson. They're asking questions, building friendships, and growing roots that will hold them through life.
The teenage years are some of the most formative of a person's life. Rooted Youth exists to walk alongside teenagers during those years — helping them build a faith that's genuinely their own, not just their parents'.
We're a community where students are known by name, hard questions are welcomed, and the Bible is taken seriously. Wednesday nights are where it happens.
AWANA is one of the most effective kids discipleship programs in the world — and it happens right here at Walnut Creek every Wednesday night. Through games, Bible memory, and small group time, kids build a foundation of Scripture that stays with them for life.
The fun doesn't stop when school lets out. Rooted Kids Summer keeps kids connected, growing, and having a great time all summer long. Stay tuned for details each spring.
